We are an undergraduate student collective of eco-writers, artists, and creatives.
We are interested in the intersections of environment, justice, and storytelling.
We are based at UC Berkeley and at the Student Environmental Resource Center.
We were once a student-run environmental news publication (one of the only in the UC system), first established in 2013 as SERC Blog and later becoming The Leaflet in 2019. In 2024, we realized the need for an arts-based environmental activism space and transitioned to meet the moment.
We currently release projects digitally, host events, and release an annual print publication. We are always open to new ideas.
We hold space for any type of creativity or expression, be it journalism, poetry, design, zine-making, sewing, performance, illustration, music, muralism, photography, film, painting, protest poster-making, ceramics, or otherwise. Everything is welcome.
We value collaboration, moving together, and creating slowly with intention.
